Block paving is available in thicknesses ranging from 50mm to 80mm depending on how heavy duty the surface requirements are, it is available in different styles and patterns as well as kerbing and edging allowing you to create a bespoke driveway for your home.
If you are looking for something a little different, then crazy paving is another option, it takes it’s name from the way the blocks are arranged in a seemingly random fashion. But though it may look random, we wouldn’t advise you to try it without the skills and experience needed.
A method which is becoming more and more popular due to it’s bespoke nature is asphalt, with an asphalt drive you can make a distinctive feature for your home. Asphalt is often a much cheaper option than for example block paving, and is extremely durable, when properly installed, asphalt will not suffer weather damage such as cracking or lifting.
There are other options available such as slabbing, gravel and patterned concrete, a concrete mould where a pattern is printed on the wet concrete, and tarmac, a cheaper option, this is the material used on roads and paths everywhere but not as decorative.
