The Shrewsbury Flower Show is a date marked in all gardening enthusiasts diary, with everything you can think off for your garden, plants, furniture, accessories, water features and lots of inspiration. Not only does the Shrewsbury Flower have everything for the garden, it is also jam packed with lots of things for all, Folk bands, singers, TV personalities, celebrity chefs and lots of entertaining shows in the arena. With 12 hours of entertainment each day the event climaxes with a magnificent firework display.
As one of main attractions in the summer calendar and arguably the biggest Flower event of the year attracting thousands of visitors to view the exhibitors who come from all around the UK.
Some of the highlights of the show include the main Quarry Marquee that hosts some of the top horticulturalists in the country, exhibiting for the top awards.
The Severn Marquee sees the many different societies and amateur growers competing for to be crowned winners in a number of different fruit and veg growing competitions
In the Dingle Marquee you will find floral art and photography detailing the beauty of nature.
All around the show ground you will find outside show garden, that will give you plenty of inspiration. Every year has its own theme in 2014 the outdoor garden will have a "vintage garden theme"
2014 will also see the launch of two exciting new projects involving local schools in a competition to see what class can produce the best garden design, there will also be a competition for the best floral trains for younger children.
